Otaku Oasis Convention 2025

Hey guys we are here with another convention review. We dove in deep with this one as well. We were able to be there as set builders for Their photoshoot Area. We were able to talk to the people that were attending and get some insight from them as well.

First i am going to say we actually had a lot of fun at this convention. While it wasn't giant ( its a first year guys) it was ran well and well organized. That goes for placement for vendors, panels, main events, etc. The sets may need to be in another area next time because they were right by main events. We didn't mind it but i am sure it being kind of dark in there due to the sets. However we enjoyed being there to be able to talk to everyone. There were a few hiccups here and there but it seemed to have been handled very well and in a timely manner.

This con had plenty of vendors in the vendors hall, had a whole other room for 18 plus vendors and yes they had tattoo artists, cosplayers ,piercers, and more inside the 18 plus room. I heard a few people complaining about the vendor hall but nothing to serious and cant be fixed. First year cons live , learn, and do it better the next years to come.

They had plenty of events as well and a fun bunny hutch cocktail time as well as a maid cafe, burlesque ( which most of it was more of a strip show then a burlesque if you are looking in a traditional sense this is not traditional however it was fun and the people seemed to be having a good time ). Traditionally, burlesque is a type of variety show that is both provocative and comedic. It features a female chorus and solo dances, plus bawdy, slapstick skits and songs. And yes, it may feature striptease acts, but not necessarily. Just a little to help you https://fashionpotluck.com/lifestyle/what-are-the-differences-between-stripping-and-burlesque . this shows you the difference. ) Like i was saying it had that , the photo sets were there all weekend and they even did a mixer for the vip and special guests !They had a lot of voice actors and people to meet and great and a wonderful cosplay contest which people had a lot of fun at.

This con felt nostalgic to how it was a while back. The drama was slim to non and everyone was just loving everyone. It was fun and didn't have the normal toxicity that you find in almost all other conventions now a days. If they keep up the good work and don't deter from what they set out to do in the first place. I honestly think it will become a very big convention.
