The Conjuring: Last Rites: In what is billed as the final installment of the main series, Ed and Lorraine Warren return for one last chilling paranormal investigation. The movie is based on the real-life Smurl family haunting. 

Releasing September 12

The Long Walk: Based on Stephen King's dystopian novel, this film follows a high-stakes walking competition where a group of young men must maintain a certain speed or face execution. Reviews have been overwhelmingly positive.

Rabbit Trap: This folk horror film follows two musicians who move to the Welsh countryside for inspiration. They record an unusual audio sample that leads to a chilling turn of events.

The Man in My Basement: A man at risk of losing his ancestral home receives a strange proposal from a mysterious stranger. The film is based on a novel of the same name and stars Corey Hawkins and Willem Dafoe.

Traumatika: A horror film about a boy whose night terrors begin to come to life, coinciding with his mother showing signs of possession. 

Releasing September 19

Him: From producer Jordan Peele's Monkeypaw Productions, this movie explores the darker side of fame and power in a sports setting. It stars Tyriq Withers as a football player mentored by an aging quarterback played by Marlon Wayans.

Dirty Boy: A film scheduled for release on the same day as Him, with a reported debut on the festival circuit. 

Releasing September 26

The Strangers: Chapter 2: The next installment of the newly relaunched The Strangers trilogy continues the story of the infamous masked killers.

Saw XI: The latest entry in the iconic horror franchise is set to hit theaters, with Tobin Bell and Costas Mandylor returning to their roles.
